Add your facebook status to your blog

If you would like your facebook status displayed on your blog then use these neat trick to do so. You can use a facebook status plugin but if your blog wont allow it this method is the best solution.

Step 1

feed column and then click on see all.

Step 2

In Mini Feed click Status Stories in the right column. Scroll down and select My Status.

Step 3

You now need to copy the my status link as this is the link you will need to put into your blog.

Step 4

Log into your blog and go to your appearance page from there slect widgets you now want an rss widget .

Final Step

Now you have the text area open you have to paste the link you got from facebook into this and name it something like Facebook Status or whatever you like.

Thats it your all done your facebook status will now be visible on your blog so your readers can see what your up to.

What are Facebook pages? quite simply they are pages on facebook that display content for personal purposes, business, hobbies, clubs, organizations and the like. Facebook pages work very similar to facebook groups however facebook groups have members and facebook pages have fans both are the same really it’s just facebooks way of utilizing a feature better on their website by splitting the two to deliver bigger scope to their memberbase.

A facebook page can be a companies holding page, a page of information on that company with a direct link to the companies website which will give their company a broader reach than just having a website setup in fact google will like your company website even more if you have a facebook page with a link to your companies website from there.

I suppose you could class facebook pages as a yellow pages although I have not seen a search facility on the facebook pages as of yet unless i’m being blind.

You can do all sorts of things with your facebook page like see stats on whos visiting you and from where and also add an rss feed which means fans of your page can see realtime updates without visiting your page.

At the moment facebook pages are farily new and not many people are aware of them in time I think they will increase in populartiy as they grow. I have a few facebook pages for various sites that I run they have done me well so far delivering good traffic and and every webmaster knows good traffic is what every webmaster wants! I also as a plan of action always make a facebook page for any new website I make wether it be for personal use or for a company.

There are many things you can do to improve the amount of friends you have on facebook to make yourself look more popular than you actually are lol.

Theres no harm in having many friends on facebook it has alot of advantages over having very little friends. One being you can mass message all your friends in one go or create groups of friends to message.

Why would I want to message all of my friends? you ask, well if you have a referral link to make yourself some extra cash or have a product or some gossip you want everyone in the world to know about then facebook is great for such.

So it always helps to build a good strong friends list no matter what position your in. I have even heard rumours of internet marketers buying profiles on facebook so they can market their product.

Here are some pointers to building a good solid friends list on facebook.

Start a website and have a link of that site to add you as a friend, if your website grows then your friends list is bound to aswell.
Add your friends list link to your signature in forums, blogs or wherever you post on the internet.
Add everyone with the same surname as you if they ask why you added them say your trying to build up a facebook family.
As a last resort add people in your friends friends list theres a limit on how many you can do each day and be careful when adding as facebook will tell you off and may even ban your ass.

Obviously its best to use a method that gets people adding you as a friend on facebook otherwise facebook will cath on to what your up too.

Delete your facebook profile permanently

Step 1
Firstly log into facebook and then select the account link in the top right corner.

Step 2
On the Settings tab , click on deactivate at the end of Deactivate Account.

Step 3
A Confirm Facebook Account Deactivation page will load up now select a reason why you wish to delete your account or specify your own reason in the other Explain Further box then hit Deactivate button.

Step 4
Thats it a new page will load dsiplaying the following:

You can easliy download your own your a friends entire photo album in one go this makes it very easy to keep hole of those memorable images.
