The firefox facebook toolbar is ultra cool if your a fan of the firefox web browser aswell as a facebooker! The idea is that you can be anywhere on any site and still stay connected to your facebook profile with notifications, chat, messages and friends online status. Some of the key features of the tool bar are Search, chat, sharing pages, notifications and more. The toolbar is good for those that wont to be connected but don’t want to be on the facebook site at the same time so you could be reading a news article on the bbc news website or checking out your emails and still stay connected to facebook through this cool firefox addon.

If you wish to hide those annoying facebook notifications especially those facebook quiz notifications and just have the ones you want then we have news for you we have found a way! All hail facebook login we hear you say. Simply follow these steps to accomplish your goal.

The only bummer thing is that you must have firefox or google chrome installed to achieve this.

Firefox users:

Install GreaseMonkey add-on to your Firefox
Install the Facebook Purity GreaseMonkey script
Start using

Google Chrome users:

Install GreaseMetal for Chrome
Install the Facebook Purity GreaseMonkey script

Update Facebook Status without being on facebook

Firstly you need Firefox to do this. Once your up and running with firefox grab an addon called FireStatus it’s a status update addon for multiple social networks, including our bleoved FaceBook.

Install the addon then go to ‘tools – > addons‘ and you will see firestatus put your login information in there and you can then update your status withouth actually having the facebook website open within your browser.

You can easliy download your own your a friends entire photo album in one go this makes it very easy to keep hole of those memorable images.

Firstly you need to be using Firefox and then install this addon. Once the addon as been insatlled you hover over and album link and go to ‘File’ and select ‘Download Album with facePAD’ It’s as simple as that.
