Facebook login couple tie the knot http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-information/facebook-login-couple-tie-the-knot/ http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-information/facebook-login-couple-tie-the-knot/#comments Mon, 28 Sep 2009 08:55:53 +0000 Adaobi peter http://www.facebookloginhut.com/?p=357 A couple that met through the power of facebook have tied the not Gemma Kelly was married to Jon Griffin of Leicester England on Saturday. The wedding day was a lovely day and many people attended.

There are many couples that meet on Facebook that are getting married who says that online dating is for weirdos its a proven method of vetting a date in fact it’s far safer and better to see what someones like online before you actually date them usually if someone has a good sized friends list and an active wall then you know that the person is well respected and has alot of good friends which care about them another good method is to checkotu their photos this will give you another good idea of what that person is like.

Google Slap or Google Sandbox Effect http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-news/google-slap-or-google-sandbox-effect/ http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-news/google-slap-or-google-sandbox-effect/#comments Fri, 21 Aug 2009 20:40:52 +0000 Adaobi peter http://www.facebookloginhut.com/?p=338 We were gutted to see that our site which we have worked so hard on adding content daily has been slapped or placed in the Google sandbox which has greatly effected our traffic and thus our reach to facebook users.

For those of you that don’t know The Google sanbox is a theory that is floating around on the internet where a new website has an initial ranking in Google for a short term and is then placed in a place called the sanbox by many where it is assessed by Google to see if the the Website in question is a spam website. We hope that our site is not seen by Google as a spam website as we have really worked hard to fill the site with good clean fresh content daily which we think facebook users will find helpful and relevant in their day to day usage of Facebook. If the site in question is a Spam website then that website will be deleted from Google and it will be very unlikely that the website will ever be indexed by Google ever again.

The other thing that could be effecting our place in Google is a Google slap or penalty where the site in question has some sneaky sneaky SEO techniques that typically go against the code of Google’s web mastering practice in the hope of attaining higher rankings in Google. We have not done any of this unless over using the word Facebook as got us slapped then were guilty as charged sorry Google.

We will as Google states keep adding good fresh relevant content to our website in the hope that it does return to it’s place in Google as we were attracting a good user base that were commenting on our posts and finding our articles helpful and interesting.

If you have any ideas please feel free to leave a comment to this post thanks.

Addicted to Facebook http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-information/addicted-to-facebook/ http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-information/addicted-to-facebook/#comments Fri, 21 Aug 2009 20:26:40 +0000 Adaobi peter http://www.facebookloginhut.com/?p=333 Are you addicted to Facebook? Here are 10 of our pointers that may indicate your addiction to the social networking website.

1.Cant go without?

If you can’t go at least one day without going on facebook then you know your addicted go on try it we dare you!

2.Going bed to late?

If you stay on facebook till the sun goes down and have lack of sleep as a result of your facebooking then you are surely addicted!

3.Hooked at work?

Do you find yourself using nipping on at work which effects your production and results in you getting warnings from your boss, this is surely time to see a facebook shrink about your addiction.

4.Spend more time on their than you do in the shower or washing yourself daily?

If you spend more time using facebook than you do grooming yourself then you have let facebook gain more respect than you have for yourself and need to take a chill pill and spend more time looking after your personal hygiene and well being than spending time messaging friends and playing games on Facebook.

5.Ever had a day off to go on Facebook?

If this is you then your are without a doubt addicted and need help before it’s too late, life is more important than a social networking website isn’t it?

6.You search for people on Facebook that you have just met?

I think we have all done this one but if you do it every time then this could be deemed as a form of stalking take a step back and slap yourself in the face if this is you then you are well and truly addicted sort it out and quick!

7.You randomly add people to bump up your friends list?

Do you do this if so why? What’s the point unless you are some kind of marketer then why would you add random people that you have never met? To make yourself look more popular? Let the crazy ones add you and not vice versa.

8.Getting involved in others comments?

Do you jump on the comment bandwagon sticking your oar in where its not wanted or needed, how rude can one person be those that do this annoy others and should only bring relevant comments to the table stop being a comment spammer.

9.Check Facebook from your mobile phone?

Why would you want to do this wait till you get home to check your stuff some people we know spend all their lives on their mobile checking their stuff this is a high level of facebook addiction facebook mobile is for a quick fix not all day everyday especially when your supposed to be working.

10.Spying on your friends and ex lovers?

The word stalker springs to mind if this is you then leave this well alone move on with your life and get out more.

That’s our guide to diagnosing of you have a problem with Facebook if you fall into any of the topics listed then you seriously need to rethink your usage and get out more!

Good luck.

How does facebook make money http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-information/how-does-facebook-make-money/ http://www.facebookloginhut.com/facebook-information/how-does-facebook-make-money/#comments Sun, 02 Aug 2009 08:12:55 +0000 Icansevenfold http://www.facebookloginhut.com/?p=207 This question has been asked a great many times by friends family how does facebook make money? In 2007 Microsoft purchased a 1.6% stake in Facebook for $240 million, how can you justify that much for such a small stake in a internet giant.

Facebook declared that they now have around 50 million active users a day on facebook with around 200 000 joining everyday meaning that the site has a huge scope to potential advertisers. Some major sporting events on television rarely reach that total and companies pay millions to have their adverts in the breaks so having a place where you can have your advert splashed on a computer screen where potential customers will see your add all day long has a better potential of making sales. Advertising is slowly but surely creeping on to the internet for all those preying eyes.

Facebook has it’s own in house advertising program you join as a new member and then add the advertsing application where you add and manage ads and view reports. The advertising on facebook is pretty cool but carries a very low ctr which sucks you have to pay quite alot per click too which also sucks but the potential is there to make money with facebook through their advertising program.

Facebook makes it’s money by charing you to advertise on their site its as simple as that.
