Our darling beloved Facebook is facing fines from Germany after Facebook broke privacy laws under German Laws. A group of officials in Germany have sent Facebook a letter which Facebook as confirmed receiving via the BBC website.  Switzerland is also on the brink of filing a lawsuit against Facebook over privacy concerns this is not looking good for Facebook as every country in the world may follow suit and Facebook could nose dive loosing some of its member base this would give Google prime opportunity to jump in with their rumoured project ‘GoogleMe‘. If found guilty Facebook will face huge fines which could dent their financial status as they don’t really make a great deal of money considering their potion in the world as the leading Social networking website.

It’s rumoured that Google will be launching a social networking service called GoogleMe to rival Facebook. Google already has a social networking powerhouse in Orkut but that is only popular in Brazil it even does better than Facebook. GoogleMe is only a rumour at the moment with no confirmations but there is never any smoke without fire and it would suit Google to bring out a simplified social networking site.

Goggle is bigger than Facebook and can achieve anything that they put their mind too so we predict that GoogleMe will become Facebook’s biggest rival if not conqueror as people are slowly becoming bored and fatigued with Facebook and will look to use somethign new, fresh and unique.

GoogleMe refers to someone Googleing you to find out more information about you you tend to say “GoogleMe”  we think that GoogleMe will be incorporated into the current structure of Google and those with account already will automatically join the Social networking platform.

Our GoogleMe predictions:

• GoogleMe will launch sooner that most think possibly as early as August 2010,
• GoogleMe will overtake Twitter within a year and may even be the death of Twitter.
• GoogleMe will be slick fast and unlike anything you have seen before.
• Google is the number 1 ranked site in the the world according to Alexa they have millions of members in many areas of the internet Youtube is one of them which is ranked at number 3.  It will take GoogleMe no time whatsoever to get right up there with the best of the best ie Facebook.

We love a good competition and so should you it keeps things fresh and our beloved websites on their tiptoes with news features and implementations bring it on!!

This is believe or not a common issue amongst users of Facebook especially those in their teens as their spending a great deal of time on Facebook playing games, messaging, chatting and all that goes with using Facebook.
Facebook Fatigue is spreading like wildfire because so many users of Facebook are addicted and cant quite bring themselves to come off it. A great number of people are staying up till the early hours if the the morning on Facebook, going school, work and falling asleep Facebook is turning us all into a zombie generation why? because it’s so addictive.

After the recent ban in Pakistan of Facebook and the banning of the Facebook Login in Bangladesh a network of IT professionals from Pakistan have created their own version of Facebook solely for Muslims called MillatFacebook, meaning Nation Facebook.
The new site which can be found here has already gathered steady ground and is undergoing server upgrades to cope with the amount of traffic it’s receiving from the Muslim community world wide. MillatFacebook or MFB as it’s called for short already has 250,000 users according to the websites upgrade statement.

We expect there to be some problems with the branding of their website using Facebook in the title but I’m sure they will cross that bridge when they come to it, the website itself however is very similar to Facebook itself but obviously does not functions as well, there are no games, apps and the like just a a very plain social networking system using the same colours and layout and ajax loading systems as Facebook does.

MillatFacebook should do ok for now but those that are used to using Facebook will miss Facebook’s cool faultless features will keep an eye on the developments of MillatFacebook and report accordingly.

There is a nasty little Facebook attack going on at the moment so please be careful it’s spreading in the form of a message when opened it redirects to another site from Facebook and asks for your Facebook Login credentials. The message comes as a promise to watch an ‘Hilarious Video’ and a great number of people are becoming effected and thus spreading the nasty bug. Facebook is working around the clock to resolve the issue but its fundamentally down to you the user so please be careful what you open and make sure you tell all your friends on Facebook about the bug so that we can stop this kind of nonsense on Facebook.

Believe it or not a great number of people type Facebook Login into Google and other search engines to get to their beloved Facebook. For a few days now Google has ranked first a site that has nothing to do with the Facebook Login page or in fact Facebook and this as led to some hilarious outbursts on the Site that finds itself at number one for the search term ‘Facebook Login‘.
Some funny quotes from the page that’s at number one made us laugh so hard people actually think that the page is Facebook and are venting frustration because their ‘Facebook Login’ page has changed!

Oh no those poor poor people in Pakistan are no longer allowed to use their beloved Facebook as its been blocked :( all because of some silly dispute over a carton which depicts their god Mohammed.

The row started after a group formed on Facebook starting a “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” which casued havoc in Pakistan which led to people crowded the streets in demonstration of the Facebook group. On Wednesday a petition was sent to the Pakistan high court to shut of Facebook to the whole population of Pakistan within two hours the law was passed and Facebook was shut off until at least the 31st of May.

There is mass panic now in Pakistan as Pakistan had a great number of people using the site our how only advice to ths lost without their Facebook is try to use a Procie to connect to their Facebook account.

A website has been setup in protest to Facebook’s latest privacy settings update. Facebook  has recently updated their website and now have over 50 settings for users to implement in their Facebook account. A group of Facebook members have teamed up to form a group, website and Facebook page to leave Facebook on the 31st of May 2010 the campaign already has 1237 Facebook users commisted to leaving Facebook at the end of May.

Facebook has well over 200 millions users and almost halp a million new members daily this kind of campaign will have little or no effect on Facebook at all but it’s a start and someone at Facebook must surely listen.

Facebook is making it’s settings more complex for its users and thus buying the privacy settings behind the whole system of Facebook are you aware that your information is open to the joe public if they know how to find it. This is a major alrm if you have children that use Facebook please make sure that you make thier settings private.
