Update Facebook Status without being on facebook
Firstly you need Firefox to do this. Once your up and running with firefox grab an addon called FireStatus it’s a status update addon for multiple social networks, including our bleoved FaceBook.
Install the addon then 
go to ‘tools – > addons‘ and you will see firestatus put your login information in there and you can then update your status withouth actually having the facebook website open within your browser.
