could not connect to facebook chat at this time
There is a common error using the Facebook chat system users have a yellow triangle with the message ‘could not connect to facebook chat at this time‘ when they hover over it. There are two causes for this bug one of which is that your computers memory is too low and can’t handle the load so Facebook blocks you out from the chat and online list another is that your connection is too slow and that your computer is not sending and receiving information from Facebook fast enough for that feature to be enabled.
There is a simple step you can take to get the feature working.
- Do a dull refresh – Press and hold ‘ctrl’ on your keyboard and then press F5 this will perform a refresh of the site and will clear any old downloaded files that may be blocking the feature from working.
Thanks that works, now each time you press enter when writing a message in order to post it, it says sending sending sending?

I\’ve tried the above suggestion but I\’m still getting the \’could not connect to facebook at this time\’ message. I\’ve tried to access it on different computers and I still have the problem. So could it possible be something wrong with my facebook account?

Facebook has been running slow….Cafe world in order to use it I have to open 2 windows.
Sounds like others are having the same problem…I do refresh often an delete cookies,
add on, web etc.
