could not connect to facebook chat at this time

There is a common error using the Facebook chat system users have a yellow triangle with the message ‘could not connect to facebook chat at this time‘ when they hover over it. There are two causes for this bug one of which is that your computers memory is too low and can’t handle the load so Facebook blocks you out from the chat and online list another is that your connection is too slow and that your computer is not sending and receiving information from Facebook fast enough for that feature to be enabled.

There is a simple step you can take to get the feature working.

• Do a dull refresh – Press and hold ‘ctrl’ on your keyboard and then press F5 this will perform a refresh of the site and will  clear any old downloaded files that may be blocking the feature from working.
