New usernames on Facebook?

Everyone that uses facebook would have noticed sometime this week the update to the username as facebook asked you to select one so that it would permanently become your ‘tidy url‘ on facebook.

The aim by facebook is to make facebook more shareable by its users the current url fomrat for profiles on facebook looks something like this

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=521335087

Now they have changed it to a more readable and shareable format like such

http://www.facebook.com/TsKTecH

This will make it easier for you to share your profiles around the internet with others making facebook even more coo.

If you have not yet registered your username then you can do so by going to the register facebook username page but dont be haste take your time as your choice will be fixed and your profile linked to the username forever!

A good idea is to think of combos so if your name is steve smith and steve smith is gone try Super Steve Smith so you retain your full name at leat.
