New Facebook Search
For those of you that dont know Facebook has been testing it’s beta search since mid June. The facebook search facility now displays search engne results similar to those of bing the popular search engine from microsft.
If you remember we told you how Microsoft purchased a stake in facebook way back in 2007 which was obviously a good move thus implementing their search within facebook itself.
The new search results show deeper results from facebook too which are displayed first with the bing search results listed below the facebook results. This will surely mean big leaps forward for bing who are currently googles main competitors and their coming fast.
For years google have dominated the search industry but now bing are making some clever steps to give google a run for their money.
Have you ever used bing? Its a good search system however a website very rarely has the same position and results tend to alternate a great deal so for that reason I personally will always stick to google.
